"Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."-Malcolm X

Rama Devi Memorial Educational Society reiterates the conviction of making excellent academic facilities available to the students of its educational institutions. Our endeavour is to impart to the students a vision for life with a broad horizon so that they can face challenges in future with ease. We do not limit ourselves to individual goals but go beyond to impart nationalistic and progressive fervour in our students. The curriculum, assessment and practical learning have gone through a sea change. We have well trained and experienced teachers to deal with the present day curriculum.

The more the teacher connects and communicates with the students, better the knowledge transfer and more likely better the chances of learning. Children need to be engaged through various strategies for achieving the goals as the uptake of the children varies. Learning becomes difficult if there is any lack of proper communication.

At City Public School, we understand that children come from different backgrounds and thus have to be handled at different levels.

The communication between the student and the teacher at the formers level serves to build a strong bond between the two that creates a better learning environment in the class rooms. The student looks up to the teacher with reverence and takes the word of the teacher as the gospel. The teacher therefore must endeavour to live up to the expectations of the student. I feel proud that our teachers realize this and accept the same whole heartedly.

The aim of the school is not only the transaction of the curriculum but we proud ourselves in excelling in other co-scholastic activities. I am glad that last session was extremely fruitful in academics as well as extracurricular activities. Teaching through Smart Boards and various modern day training aids becomes effective and interesting but I feel nothing can replace the teacher’s personal rapport with the students. I would like to sum up with the quote of Nikos Kazantzakis:

“True Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create their own”
