Aristotle was once asked “in what manner are the educated people different from those who are uneducated?” “As much” said he, “as the living are from the dead.”
Believing in this conviction, Rama Devi Memorial Educational Society has taken up the challenge to educate people irrespective of their background. The society has established a senior secondary school and a B.Ed. College for women, namely City Public School and Rama Devi Kanya Mahavidyalaya respectively. The school is affiliated to CBSE and the College to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut.
The society reiterates the conviction of making available to the wards of both rural and urban populace the best of academic facilities. We follow the philosophy of non-discrimination on the basis of caste creed, religion, economic or social status of parents.
The aim of the school is not the transaction of the curriculum alone but we pride ourselves in excelling in all facets of school education. I am glad the last session was an extremely eventful one both academically as well as in the field of extra curricular activities. Our students have made their mark at the Inter-State level sports events including Judo Karate championships. Class X & XII have shown exceptionally good results with a record number of students getting A1 and A2 grades. As an educational institution we have made our mark within a short span of time by providing our students with the best of faculty a state of the art infrastructure in terms of laboratories, library, sports and other extra curricular activities our institutions at present are being hailed amongst the prestigious institutions of the state.
As a school, we believe that we learn by doing. Thus learning through Computer presentations and various projects is an integral part of our school curriculum which contributes to the holistic development of each child’s personality. Such a flexible curriculum helps our students to qualify at various competitive exams like AIEEE, NDA, UPTECH and other prestigious colleges of Delhi University.
The school does’t give its students mere knowledge but we also impart a vision for life with a broad horizon. We do not limit ourselves to individual goals but try to impart nationalistic and progressive fervour in our students.
At Rama Devi Memorial Educational Society, education is an endless adventurous journey, a challenge with a constant endeavour to set new parameters for future. We set ourselves milestones each year and periodically assess our accomplishments and dynamically steer toward the goals in pursuit of excellence.
I can foresee a still brighter future ahead with my team of committed teachers, the members of management cooperative parents and most of all the dilligent and sensitive students.
